- 1 rectangular piece Mpatzos cheese, 2cm thick
- Oil for frying
Pass the Mpatzos of flour to stick on it. Fry in oil covering half the thickness of Mpatzos, over high heat. When browned on one side, turn it from the other and the saganaki is ready. Serve and sprinkle lemon juice as desired.
Instead Mpatzos you can use Kefalotyri or another hard cheese.
