Schnitzel filled with Mpatzos and Mushrooms
- 4 thin Schnitzel
- 100gr Mushrooms, sliced
- 200gr Mpatzos cheese, grated
- 1 Onion, minced
- 4-5 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Parsley, finely cut
- Salt, freshly grounded pepper and green pepper seeds
- Some Flour
- Vegetables and Pasta for garnishing
Salt and pepper the schnitzel. Heat half of the olive oil and sauté the onion and the mushrooms. Remove from the heat and add some green pepper, Mpatzos cheese and the parsley.
Use this mixture to fill the schnitzel and form to rolls. Use string to stitch them and flour them. Heat the remaining oil and brown the rolls. Dust the remaining green pepper. Add the Worcestershire sauce and some hot water.
Simmer for 50'-55' until the sauce sets. Remove the string and cut into slices (optionally) and serve.
