Pizza with Onion, Tomato, Feta and Thyme


Ingredients (serves 4)
  • 400gr pizza dough
  • 1kg onions
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 50gr olives with no kernel or olive paste
  • 150gr Feta cheese, grated
  • Olive oil
  • Thyme, salt and pepper

Preparation method

Cut the onions into thin rings and the garlic in thicker slices. Wash and cut the tomatoes. Heat some oil in a pan and add the onions, the garlic, the thyme and salt and pepper. Cook for one hour on very low heat, until the onions become a puree.

Heat the oven at 220o C. Put the dough on a greased griddle and puncture with a fork. Put the onions on top, and then the tomatoes, the olives and sprinkle with grated Feta. Bake at 200o C for approximately 25 minutes.

Cooking time: 30 minutes
